All classes are now full, new B1 courses will start again in November. Subscribe to our newsletter and stay informed when the next enrolment starts.
Beginners 1
The short form of Yang style consists of 37 positions which are followed through in a slow and smooth movement. The form is divided into three parts: that of man, earth and heaven, referring to Tai Chi as a way to (learn to) live in harmony between heaven (yang) and earth (yin). In the course Beginners 1 (B1) you will learn the first third of the form, which is actually a complete form in itself. All principles of Tai Chi (i.e. qualities that are continuously present, such as relaxation and straightness) are discussed.
Beginners 1 & Qi Gong
Every week, we learn the first part of the form as in the regular B1 course, but with more attention to the inner experience of the Form; something we also call Qi Gong.
