Fencing/ Partnerwork is all about listening through your sword to the sword of your opponent. Just as in Sensing Hands we train ourselves to give up anticipation and start being able to follow and redirect your opponent’s sword without the slightest force. The aim is to disarm your opponent. Because of its playful nature this style of Fencing is known as Swordplay.
