This course offers a journey through the beautiful world of Tai Chi and Qigong, perfect for beginners. You will learn the first part of Tai Chi Form (B1) through simple exercises and positions from the Qigong tradition.
Tai Chi Form and Qigong are two aspects of the same tradition. In the Form, you move consciously and attentively through a series of positions, slowly and smoothly. It invites you to live in harmony between the forces of yin (earth) and yang (heaven). With the practice of Qigong, you hold certain positions for a longer time or repeat a very simple movement. This invites you to recognize the vital Qi flowing in your body and possibly discover and overcome blockages.
At the end of this course, you will be able to perform the first part of the Form and practice several Qigong exercises independently. Thus, you will begin your journey towards inner peace, relaxation, and health.
